In her early 30s, Katharine is a full-time student working on her doctorate degree. She needed a place to live but couldn’t afford to pay much rent.

Dominic is 93. He has lived in his home on the northwest side for over 76 years. Since retirement, Dominic has helped at the local food pantry, provided transportation for friends, and swims at the local park pool several times a week. Dominic is also a convener of the Northwest Side Housing Center’s Staying Put Senior Leadership.

Danny and Donna both benefit from their "homesharing" arrangement. Danny had been caring for an elderly gentleman. When this man died, Danny had nowhere to live.
