Univison: “Comunidad del noreste de Chicago se queja porque no puede acceder a un millonario fondo”

On November 13, NWSHC staff, community leaders, Steinmetz students, and three Aldermen gathered outside the Northwest Home Equity Office to voice our disapproval of the mishandling of the $9.6 million NWHEAP fund. Though the office was “on vacation,” we carried on our press conference to demand that Robin Larson step down as Director of this program, to ask why the community has yet to benefit from NWHEAP, and to ask that our NWHEAP Commissioners review our suggested nominees to take over this program. This video coverage features an interview with NWSHC Director of Community Development, Julio Rodriguez.
